Opposites?
What of the electronics engineers who build poker machines?
What of the lawyers who act pro-bono to defend an individual against the
excesses of excutive government?
Then again:
What of the electronics engineers who design medical diagnostic equipment?
What of the lawyers for big companies who use every trick in the book
against a poor litigant to ensure that they run out of money to persue
an action before the substantive issue is ever heard.
If your posting was an attempt to create some sort of Usenet war between
electronics engineers and lawyers, it's a failure.
It's not professions that are good or bad, useful or useless, but people.
So, 10/10 for effort, 0/10 for results.
