Of course this is the case.
The is the new method of redistributing wealth. The (generally) leftists
tried crude methods such as revolution and socialism etc to take from the
"rich" and give to the "poor" last century, now they're using the market to
achieve their aims.
"Poor" countries will be exempt from the requirements drafted to combat
"climate change", while "rich" countries will be forced to meet impossible,
costly targets. The result will be a lowering of living standards in
countries like Australia. Some may argue that this is fair enough - but we
should be told the whole truth about what we're facing "to save the world".
I refuse to participate - and use as much water as I like, use as much
electricity as I like and look forward to my new Landcruiser being
delivered.
