Inflation is due to cost pressures around the price of oil. It can only go
up and up. It is not a money supply issue, so there is no need for the
government to strangle the economy. But they'll probably do this out of
desperation. Swan needs to have the guts to get up and say: "the rising cost
of oil means everything will have to rise in price. We all need to accept a
lower standard of living. Bad luck". It will be amusing to watch how they
. up the economy due to their fear of telling the truth.
