** Yep - he bravely went on talkback radio (2GB) to defend himself
against all the libelling going on.

If his story stacks up ( pun intended ) after the police have spoken with
everyone involved - he may well not be charged with any offence.

The cyclists were all travelling in a close pack, contrary to all good road
sense & as a result some of them failed to see and avoid his car when he
stopped on the verge due to a fuel problem.
