Please explain how a German Federal Court can have jurisdiction over
an Australian citizen living in Australia? A website based in
Australia or the United States can be viewed in Germany or any country
in the world. If people view "illegal" websites - eg child ., then
they can be dragged into court for the crime of looking at pictures.
If Toben had been running such a website and this had been in breach
of Australian laws that would be a different matter. He wasn't and it
isn't.
