Subject: H-4 to H-1 Posted on: Tue, 21 Mar 2006 21:53:43 GMT

Hi

I have been in H-4 status for 5 years. Now my employer is ready to apply for
H-1 for me.

Someone told me that my H-1 status can not exceed 6 years which will count
the 5 years that I have been in H-4 status.

Is this true?

Thank you.

Ann
