| Subject: Canadian Citizenship Update

The Canadian government has introduced legislation (supported by all
parties) that will return citizenship to nearly every class of
individuals whose citizenship was lost under previous citizenship
acts. It will even give citizenship to some people who did not
previously have it.
The only groups left out are people who formally renounced their
citizenship to Canadian authorities (e.g. Conrad Black) and those who
obtained citizenship by fraud. Note that taking a foreign (e.g. U.S.)
citizenship is NOT considered to be a formal renunciation...those
people WILL get their Canadian citizenship back.
