I came in through Tampa with CR-1 Visa. Huge wait in line (all the
tourists heading for the beach in St Petersburg), took about 50 minutes
there. Went to secondary, I estimate that took 45 minutes too, purely
because they seemed a bit short staffed and I had to wait for the right
guy to turn up. Once he got there, it was sorted out in about 20 mins,
fingerprinted, passport stamped and then on my way. One immigration
fella told me that I might get delayed on my greencard ( I had the new
frontal view photos, and he was telling me I needed the 3/4 ones.....a
bit behind the times he was!) - but the greencard turned up only 3 weeks
later. SSN took 3 1/2 weeks. No dramas! :)
