Hi Cindy,

Immediately would be the best time to apply for the renewal. Looks like
EADs are taking up to 3 months to process lately, and you have to
schedule biometrics in there, too.

We had the same dilemma...and ended up paying for the 2nd EAD when come
to find out Sadegh's AOS interview got scheduled and he didn't need the
2nd one. But better safe than sorry! We had no idea his interview
would come sooner than expected!

We did not do the e-filing. We just mailed everything off to Chicago
and had no problems at all. I think the advantage of e-filing is that
you get a confirmation right away and can then schedule
biometrics....someone correct me if that's wrong...?
