Subject: Starting my I-130 Journey (DCF Paris) - Questions Posted on: Mon, 14 Jan 2008 22:26:30 +0000 (UTC)

I'm a USC living in France (7 years now) and I married my French
husband here in 2003.

Now we're thinking about moving to the States, but I have some
questions. We would like to go ahead and get Permanent Residence for
my husband before really looking for jobs. Is this ok to do? Will this
make answering some of the questions difficult? We both have full-
time, salaried jobs here in France.

It seems that we need to have the Green Card before really looking for
jobs, but maybe we need to have job offers before applying for the
Green Card? Can someone help me out, please?
