This page has some good information on whether DCF is the way to go
for your case (not all consulates will allow it nowadays):

It sounds like the trickiest requirement for you will be with the
I-864 (Affadavit of Support) which states that you will be financially
responsible for your husband upon his approval for the green card. The
link above tells you what you will have to do to demonstrate this, but
you will need to show tax returns for the past couple of years (which
you've been filing, right, as a USC?!) as well as some sort of proof
of current employment upon moving back to the US, showing you have non-
foreign cash flow coming in. And you'll need to show you have US
Domicile ready for when the GC is approved.
As the link mentions, you may have to use a joint sponsor who is based
in the US
Good luck,
