When my husband filed his, he did not send in any photos or biometric
information - he was called in for that via a separate appointment.

90 days before the expiration of the 2 year GC, he sent in the
application, along with supporting evidence to the processing facility
that was designated for our state. We live in New Mexico, so for us it
went to Texas.

The local office in New Mexico called him in about a month after we
sent the application and took his photos and fingerprints and he got
the green card about a month after that.
