I just recieved an NVC email reply to an email inquirey: the response
time was 9 days. Oddly I sent the same question twice (I left out
some trivial information in the first - not related to the question
but the automated response asked for it...) ... I sent the same
question twice and recieved two different answers.
Question: I am missing the cover sheet with the bar code for the
Affidavit of Support for the child of the benificiary, (which goes on
the top of the Affidavit of Support application.)
Response to first email: "We are waiting to recieve the affidavit of
support!
Response to the second email: "The Affidavit of support package is on
it's way please allow 2-4 weeks for it to arrive."
The only difference between the two emails was: I added the birthdate
of the child!
No wonder this takes so long! I suppose it's good for a laugh
occassionally. |
