Whether you need to hire an attorney depends upon two things -- how
comfortable you are filling out the forms, and any complicating issues
you may have.

Only the two if you know the answers to those questions.

You also might consider just applying for a regular spousal visa.

K3's go to the National Visa Center and then to the Embassy of the
country where the marriage took place.
