just got on, all of sudden, this time to my wife (she is a USC)
got into US Jun 2005 on a J1 (knew my wife over the internet)
married Sep 2005
sent documents for green card Oct 2005
J1 expired Nov 2005, got recipit prove before
Aug 2006 interview. went very good all questions answered she just say
I need full citizenship document from non USC.
Sent it back to her 20 days later,
Came back Oct 2006 just to check, she said FBI backgrounds pending.
since then... till April 2008 scheduling infopasses once a month,
always the same story FBI check.
god EAD card in 2007 without a problem.
now, today receive mail for RFE.
does it mean anything like a progress on my case, or something? what
prove should I bring? Can it cover the same type we had 2 years ago on
the interview such as banking account, tax returns, car title, photos
and friends letters?? or should I come up with something (?) new?
I gues second RFE is not that common so it looks like we have been
flagged probably because of that J1 and so soon married VS my visit to
US, but she asked about that and we stated we knew each other over the
internet long time ago.
She (the same office as interviewed sent us this second RFE), gave us
90 days to comply so plenty of time to prepare. Anything specific,
knowing my case from whats above should I bring or prepare?? Does it
mean any significant progress after 2yrs of background checks awaiting
or am I still in the middle of nowhere?? My wife USC never been
married before neither did I. |
