Hi,
I m waiting for my husband's NOA 2 for k3 visa which may I m
expecting in next 3 to 5 weeks. Unfortunately I filled my 2008 tax
returns as single in error. Now, I m advised to file for amended tax
returns. My first question is should I file as married filing as
single or married filing as joint. Can I still keep my earned income
credit such education expenses if filing as "married filing jointly"
and is it legal. Also, how long does it take for me to receive and if
I receive NOA 2 in between, what should I do? Thank you
