Subject: Separation or Divorce? Which is better? Given a choice, should I opt Posted on: Thu, 6 Aug 2009 22:22:32 +0000 (UTC)

I am getting my I-751 papers ready to apply to remove conditions on my
permanent residency status obtained via marriage. However, my 3-year
old good-faith marriage is currently tense. So what looks better on my
application:
* Joint application, still married, but living separately?
or
* Single application (waiver), in the middle of a divorce (, and also
living separately, duh!)?
