Subject: Sale Posted on: Fri, 13 Apr 2007 16:32:31 +0100

My partner and i are selling our home. We have had a buyer for nine
weeks. We (were) also buying another property, for which we have
obtained a mortgage.
Unfortunately my partner's ex-husband fraudulently obtained a £100.000
advance against the property last July (while we were on holiday, it
is without dispute) so we were advised to sell the property quickly as
areed in the final financial settlement. The sale needs to be ASAPfor
many reasons. The "financial advisor" who obtained the mortgage also
arranged the solicitor.
The solicitor in question - refuses to answer the telephone, refuses
to write to us, occassionally responds to an email, for example:
"Graham,

I have to pull all the ends together today!!!!!

Will contact u later

stan"
from the 28th March.

The moving company refuse to contact us as we have moved the date
3times now, they want a deposit and i can't say i blame them. We have
resigned ourselves to losing our new house and we have been promised
on numerous occassions that someone "will get back to you" they never
do. A fax, emails and telephone calls are studiously ignored. I feel
that we need to take the sale away from this person before it goes
down the pan and i would be grateful for anyone's suggestions.

thanks.
