A schools minister was yesterday heckled by teachers after he backed
larger class sizes and suggested that it could be "perfectly
acceptable" to teach maths to pupils in classes of up to 70.
New Labour apologist Yasmin Alibhai-Brown on the Wright Stuff said,
"It can work provided the kids want to learn and are well behaved and
she claimed to have been taught in classes of over 100 in Africa."
Well Yasmin there is one slight issue here and that=92s that in Africa I
doubt they pay =91class size of 20=92 prices through their taxes.
Because here in the UK, we are paying those prices but it appears we
get an African education system in return.
Perhaps, this is because New Labour spend all our money on Guardian
reading civil servants and administrators, with Masters degrees in
made up subjects, whose job it is to undermine every traditional
family value there ever was with their, reinvent the wheel, PC social
engineering agenda.
Oh and perhaps to furnish a level of Mathematics understanding capable
of making Labour=92s economic policies add up correctly. |
