This seems to be where you are getting confused. The offense is
already committed by the pricing error. If the till data and the
displayed price differ the offense has occurred. No actual attempt by
anyone to buy and being offered a higher price is necessary.
Refusing to sell until they have gone through some ceremony of
correcting the shelf does not affect the fact they have already broken
the law in the slightest. |
