Interesting - I just had very similar - they were offering a debt
consolidation service. I pressed 5 to say that I was interested and
was put through to an American/Canadian voice - I asked her what
company she was calling from she said UK Consolidation. I told her
that the number which they had dialled was a Trading Standards number
- and that she had broken the UK laws and to stay on the line whilst
the call was traced as a precursor to legal action.
She rang off ;-)
1471 gave a number : 015179312168 - which when I called said it was
not recognised. |
