It's funny that, I had a dispute over charges with Pipex. Stupid thing
was, I was trying to pay them money I owed after a DD cock up occurred
which was their fault. Anyway, long story short, after several weeks of
trying to pay them, all the while being sent letters demanding payment.
I got fed up and managed to get details of both the CEO and Chairman of
Pipex. I sent an e-mail to their personal work accounts explaining the
situation and politely but firmly insisting that they either sort out
the mess and take payment, or I would refuse to pay and take my business
elsewhere.

Within half an hour of sending the e-mail I had no less than four phone
calls from various department managers including customer service,
accounts and the Chairmans PA. All running rings round me to get it
sorted out and make me happy. I was very surprised by the response but
frustrated that I had to go to those lengths to get something done. In
the end they waived all the charges I owed them. I still left Pipex soon
after that though!
