So, they are a scam. Fair enough. So do you drive past at a speed that
you consider to be reasonable and safe - or obey the law?

If anyone chose to do the former, would you think it unsurprising if
they were convicted and punished accordingly?

It is one thing to think that HMG has got it wrong and to campaign to
get the law changed. It is entirely different to just break the law and
then complain about it.
