Actually I normally do hang up straight away - it was just in this instance
she spoke very rapidly (the message above was the only statement made and
lasted < 3 secs) and as my finger reached for the hang-up button I had time
to try to work out whether it was a pre-recorded message or a "real" person
speaking.
Plus, I wanted to get the message in full so I could google it.
