And whilst I also did not know about that section, I have been certain
all along that the offence *must* have a defence along those lines,
otherwise the law would make every retailer hostage to fortune. While
it is *possible* for a law to be drafted that does such a thing, it is
IMO extremely unlikely that this type of law would be one of them.
I would not however have been so certain had it been one of the
plethora of knee-jerk laws brought in over the past few years.
