I happen to know of a couple of professional studies that examined
exactly that issue, and so know what actual research has found (as
opposed to anecdotal evidence based on atypical cases).
I wonder whether the PP has ever done the same?
As I said in another post, there are truths and falsehoods promulgated
by *both* sides. The subject is riddled with dishonesty and personal
agendas - again, on both sides.
