A man is walking home. He has several large and very sharp knives with
him. The police stop him.
i) He's a chef, they lecture him about walking around with sharp knives but
let him go
ii) He's not a chef, they lecture him about walking around with sharp
knives, maybe caution, maybe prosecute.
iii) He's been convicted, maybe multiple times, for stabbing people. The
police know this, and think he's off to stab someone else, and thus arrest
him. (do past convictions go before juries now?)
