There are already options available such as charging order and third
party debt orders if the debtor actually has any assets or money to
seize, bad attachments to earnings if they are employed and have an
income. If they have no assets or money then they can't pay anyway.

No, I'd prefer a system where a business realises that if it wants to
increase its own potential by offering credit then it's taking a risk
and that risk wont always pay off.

I understand that you approach the debt issue from the point of view of
a small business which can be affected hugely by unpaid debts and I do
understand why your attitude to debt is somewhat harsher than some
others, but if you are going to continue to give credit to serial bad
debtors, then who is really to blame for the difficulties that puts you
in?
