I fail to see why my perfectly true statement about Mel Rowing should
be considered an ad hominem attack.

What I said of him is quite relevant. Mel Rowing doesn't like drugs.
He speaks derisively of drug users and their drugs of preference. He
seems to regard recreational drug users as some kind of degenerate and
weak willed underclass.

At the same time Mel Rowing is a recreational drug user himself. He
has admitted he often uses a recreational drug for personal
enjoyment.

This makes him an ignorant bigot and a hypocrite. It is quite
reasonable to point this out.
