This has just happened in a New Zealand city. A dead end street with
small industrial premises and one resident was suffering from 'boy
racers' week after week - they pour diesel or oil on the road to
improve skidding. A guy who runs a video surveillance business in the
street set up a few cameras and turned the videos over to the cops.
They immediately impounded the cars involved for 28 days and charged
the drivers with 'losing traction' offences.
Problem solved - at least in that street. |
