It IS my business - and everybody else's - when they drink to excess
and are damned annoying, not to say intrusive and objectionable, which
is what all this is about. It is NOT about someone just a quiet drink
while feeding the ducks.

But being drunk and disorderly, which is endemic across Britain every
Friday night, is plenty enough time for the police to act.

No, because that falls into the category of feeding the ducks (see
above). You are trying to equate the local vicar drinking ONE glass of
wine with a lager lout downing ten pints while pissing up against a
