IIUC, is is very unusual for the person whose life is insured to make a
claim following their suicide..
The beneficiary, perhaps. Possibly some time in advance of the sad event.
It does seem a tad unwise, in any matrimonial home, to be worth very
considerably more dead than alive. Especially with woods full of
"mushrooms" nearby and the m-in-l due to make an extended visit.
