Another link to a police force, who has changed its procedures, I
think this idea is great because the finder does not have to return to
claim it, it's automatically his after 1 month or so.

As for the Act/laws I have found "the lost property Act" of Finland
and the Unclaimed Property Act of Canada, but so far the British Law
has eluded me.
