would have thought the argument that as long as you take 'reasonable'
action to let them past you are in the clear.
e.g. some nit with a supercar that has trouble with speed humps is not
going to mount a curb any time soon, but a chelsea tractor? i think its
'reasonable' to expect it to do a bit more.
I'm sure theres an offence somewhere of obstructing a police office in
their lawful duties.. but maybe thats a rumor.
of course if escorting the van is oh so important they naturally won't
have time to nick anyone, if they do.. whats the rush? |
