Got two parking tickets in one day. Bugger!!!

Question: How many parking tickets can I get in a 24 hr period? Heard
that I can only be issue with one ticket per day under a traffic
management act???

Before the flamers start on me with "should not have parked there,
etc, etc" would someone point me in the direction of whether it's a
myth or fact regarding my question.
