Once upon a time that was true. This lot, however, have changed the
rules of the game completely.

One way they have changed it is to bring in Acts that permit absolutely
anything to be introduced by way of secondary legislation, which then
gets next to no scrutiny and virtually never even a vote. This has given
almost autocratic powers to many ministers.

But then there are examples like this:

"(b)
is grossly offensive, disgusting or otherwise of an obscene character."

Whatever else that is, it is not precise.

"If the picture makes you go 'euuugh!' then it is illegal."

Yeah, great law.

Agreed. But there is a problem in the original laws as well nowadays.g
