The school have badly worded the question.

It is wrong to say that the curved surface "meets" at the vertex.

However, it seems reasonable to assume they are talking about a cone.



Something like a disected pear might meet that description as written,
if the place where the stem meets the body is a vertex. But the curved
surface would have to have a crease in it starting at the vertex and
then petering out.
