Unless there was some attraction near my house, I would think it
*most* odd.

I did in fact have a group of about 4 youths hanging around outside my
place on one occasion some years back. But that was because I live on
a boat, and they happened to choose that place to fish, probably
because it was a hot day and my boat provided some shade. They were a
bit loud on occasion, and they used the occasional swear-word, but
that doesn't bother me overly much. They didn't ask me for anything,
but as it was a hot day and I noticed they were not very well
organised, I chucked them a can of coke each from my fridge after a
while, for which they all thanked me politely, and threw the empty
cans up onto my deck as I had asked them to do rather than throwing
them in the water. I also gave them some stale bread to feed the
swans, though that ended up feeding the seagulls.

If they were that regular, I would have got chatting with them to find
out what circumstances caused them to do something as mind-numbingly
boring as hang around outside my house regularly.

Is such a thing happening to you, or is it just something that you
*imagine* might happen?
