It is those variations that I think are important.
The laws regarding protecting one's family and home do vary quite a bit,
around the World. As I alluded to in another post, had Tony Martin been
in Texas rather than East Anglia, he wouldn't have been arrested
locally, but would have been arrested here as he got off the plane..

At the moment you could. But presumably not if these sort of changes
come into being and are extended into other activities.
