How else would they do it, tax the rich?
Then you'd be saying that Old Labour was rearing it's ugly
head and their baser instincts were showing through at last.

This whole 10p fiasco has been a Government disaster
completely of their own making. They say they have been
'listening' to the concerns over this, but that's only really
because of the plummeting opinion polls. But ultimately
that's how politics works, if they thought they could get
away with it, they would.

And on the Tories side, they have been pressing for a
solution to this for weeks, and the moment they provide
one, they are accused of a U-turn. Again, that is how
politics works. They are programmed to criticise the
Government *whatever* they do.

Each side instinctively knows that had the roles been reveresed
they would have behaved in exactly the same way towards each other.
