Subject: need copy of ID document authorised Posted on: Tue, 13 May 2008 20:40:39 +0100

I need to have a copy of my passport notarised or officially witnessed
so that I can send it to a foreign bank. Does anyone know how to do this
and how much it might cost. I'm not sure whether the average
solicitor can act as a notary or whether I can get an official stamp
somewhere. I tried my local Police Station but they said they don't do
that sort of thing although I thought that they would be the obvious
candidate.

Any help appreciated.

Mike
