But that isn't the choice on offer. A few innocent folk are not just
being interviewed but also charged, tried and wrongfully convicted,
because prosecutors increasingly see DNA as being infallible. Just a few
years ago they had a rule that no-one would be prosecuted on DNA
evidence alone, but that has now been discarded. Effectively, now, if
you are DNA-matched to a SOC sample, and you *could* have done it,
you've had it.
