So who pays for all the hospitals, schools, roads, and defence ?

If the better off-pay less, then the worse-off will have to pay
more.

Oh sorry I was forgetting. With all that extra money the rich can
then afford even better private hospitals and schools, they
can fly everywhere in their helicopters thus avoiding the
roads, and in the event of any war they'll be on the first
planes out.

While muppets like you doff your caps and wave them off.
