There's a bit about this in one of the chapters in Ross Anderson's
book SECURITY ENGINEERING - Chap.24 "Terror, Justice and Freedom"
I believe. Free PDF copies of this chapter and others are available
on his website at http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~rja14/book.html .
They are very readable.
