No, it is in fact the same thing. An inherent fault that becomes apparent
months after purchase. I *could* have demanded a refund but chose to do it
their way and opt for the repair. My reason, of course, was that there was
only one x-box with only one manufacturer, and if I want my kids to have an
X-box I have to put up with a poor design. But if I bought something else
such as a DAB hi-fi, and it displayed a latent defect after 2 months, I'd
demand a refund (and sue if necessary) because there are plenty of other
makes.
