Since all the worked days are the same length, the calculation is easy and
unaffected by the part time nature of the job.
She is entitled to a minimum of 4.8 weeks holiday per year. That is 24 days
including the bank holidays. At 4 hours a day that is 96 hours holiday. If
her employer is granting the bank holidays in addition to the 58 hours
quoted above, then your wife has been short changed as it should be 64 hours
[96 - (8 x 4) = 64] not the 68 you worked out.
The entitlement rises in October 2008 to 5.6 weeks holiday or 28 days
including bank holidays (112 hours).
