And the more pointy sticks there are in circulation, the more deaths
there will be from pointy sticks. So should we ban pointy sticks?
Your connection is however far too simplistic. If it were as simple
as that, we should also ban firearms from the police and military -
after all, according to your mantra, the less guns in circulation the
less unnecessary firearms deaths there will be. Removing guns from
the police and armed services will take more than 90% of guns in the
UK out of circulation, thus reducing unnecessary deaths by a huge
amount.
