Just wanting to settle some banter on a forum elsewhere:

I don't believe there are any partical requirements for disposing of a
dead cat. I'm not aware that anyone needs to be notified, or that it
needs to be buried anywhere in particular (obviously not breaking
other laws by disposing of it dangerously).

However, another poster claims that the dead cat must be "sent away" -
where, I don't know.

Are there any legal requirements for disposing of a dead cat?
