It doesn't matter, if your visa expires during your stay. The important
thing is, that it isn't expired on the day you seek entry.

Bring good documentation, why you need 3 months and that you have enough
money for the stay. I know of one case, where the person only got
permission to stay up to the expiry date of the visa (normally they give
you six months regardless of expiry date, but nothing is certain with
BCIS, thats why you should bring documentation for your stay.)
