Subject: What happens to my L1 Visa when I renew my British Passport? Posted on: Fri, 07 Jan 2005 00:44:58 +0000


I'm in the process of filling out my C1 passport renewal form and was
wondering what happens when I return my expired passport - my L1 visa is
still valid. Do they transfer the Visa across into the new passport?
Or do I then get lumbered with 2 passports - one valid, and one
containing a valid visa?

Any general help or advice anyone can offer when going through
this process?
